Looking for an experienced mechanic technician to work on golf carts and low speed vehicles. Must be organized, dependable and must have your own tool box.
- Mechanic is primarily responsible for using their experience and technical expertise to diagnose all cart issues including drivability and electrical issues.
- A successful mechanic will use leadership and mentoring skills to drive a team to increase customer care and satisfaction
- The mechanic will occasionally have direct interaction with customers and deliver superior service through educating the customer on the issues and proposed solutions for their cart
- Diagnose and repair to specifications — brake, audio and electrical, suspension and alignment, motor and controller issues, and lithium and lead acid battery issues.
- Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which will include employees and customers on an as-required basis
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training and hands-on sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing golf cart technology
- Assist fellow technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities
- Keep management team aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur
- Maintain an organized and neat shop to include cleaning up tools and work area daily
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety and environmental rules
- The expectation is the mechanic to help set the pace and tone while helping to develop and motivate the team around you

- Frequent reaching overhead and below the knees, including squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting
- Communicate effectively in person, by telephone, or by using telecommunications equipment
- Safely operates motor vehicles, low speed vehicles, and all other equipment as needed
- Preferably has experience and able to drive a truck with trailer to transport low speed vehicles
- Most work will be performed in an air conditioned/heated environment
